Blogs I responded to.

Responses: Sai, Patrick, Steven B, and here is Sara Browns. I didn't want to open up a live journal account to post, and apparently you cannot post annonymously....

RESPONSE TO YOUR BLOG ON ANIMALS

Hey Sara. (I mean Ms. Brown)
Thanks for a great practicum!!
I guess one of the days we could have traded. I could have put on a blond wig and taught math and you could have slapped on a mustard cardigan and saved me from my first art class.
Animals are good. They give students a warm body to hug, but our rats our pooping everywhere. They are new and scared of the kids and poop when they kids are too abrasive with them. As Mr. Franklin says, Brownie keeps making brownies.....
I'm not enough of an animal person to deal with Brownie clean up patrol... (blech)
Another thing that I noticed about animals and Mr. Franklin is that the animals force Mr. Franklin to overextend himself. The students need animal time and the animals need to be pet. So instead of taking break time during recess like the rest of the staff, Mr. Franklin gives up his own time to host rat petting time. So don't overextend yourself with the animals when you get a job!
